We invest in our staff, every person is given their own individual learning plan to complete they enrol onto our own courses and when complete take this knowledge into the workplace where they will have the help of a buddy, this offers additional support if needed, ensuring dignity and respect all times. All learning is entered into our matrix and monitored by our admin staff ensuring no body gets behind with any updates that are required. This is a service that can be offered to you at a small cost (take the pressure out of organising your next training course let us do it for you)
Buddy system (In house training only)
Each new starter is then allocated a buddy, ie somebody they can call upon if they are unsure of anything. The buddies themselves are encouraged to report back to the management team If they have any concerns
regarding the staff member.
Supervision (in house only)
Every member of staff is offered supervision every 6 weeks, this gives the staff member the opportunity to share any concerns or compliments/complaints received. However all staff are encouraged to provide information of our complaints procedure at the time of the event as well.
Team meetings (in house only)
We hold regular team meetings to ensure a consistant approach to the support given. Our main aim is to share knowledge and develop new approaches as required. Our meetings are open to a multi-disciplinary team and all parties are encouraged to attend including the service user. We have an overall aim to have a transparent working relationship with everybody involved in the care of our service users
